The Ukrainian Singers of Plymouth was born from a shared journey. In 2022, many of us arrived in the UK seeking safety, stability, and hope during an incredibly difficult time for our homeland. Far from home, we found comfort in each other—and in the music and traditions that have always been at the heart of Ukrainian life.

What began as a small group singing together for strength has grown into a vibrant choir with a purpose. Today, we perform across the South West at charity events, fundraising concerts, cultural celebrations, and community gatherings. Every stage we step onto is an opportunity to honour our heritage and share it with our new home.

Our mission is simple: to support the Ukrainian community in the UK and to bring joy, unity, and connection through music. We strive to keep our traditions alive, offering familiar songs and cultural experiences to those who miss home, while also inviting British audiences to discover the richness of Ukrainian culture.

Through our performances, we’ve seen how music can lift spirits, build friendships, and create a sense of belonging—no matter where life takes us. Singing together reminds us that even far across the planet, hope and happiness can be found when people come together.
